Anonymous Drawing Room

Anonymous Drawing Room was an interactive installation created in 1997, exploring physical interactions with computers and representations of physical and digital presence. Central to the installation was a computer programme that tracked the mouse and hand movement of users, browsing the internet on a computer within the installation. These movements were traced as lined drawings, which were printed out at automated intervals and exhibited within the gallery space.

The work was developed as part of the European Media Artist Residency Exchange and exhibited at C3, Centre for Culture and Communication, Budapest, Hungary Oct 22 – Nov 2 1997.
